Why We Built This Site
Connecticut’s warrant information does not come from one public state search. The Judicial Branch operates PRAWN for authorized criminal-justice agencies, and the public Arrest Warrants page offers only a limited view. The pending criminal and motor-vehicle docket can help locate a case, but its online display is not the official record. The Superior Court Clerk’s Office confirms the court’s status; the police or CSP agency responsible for service holds a separate operational record.
Connecticut has no county sheriff offices or separate city and town criminal courts. A historic county label can help with geography, but an actionable question follows the town and assigned Superior Court GA or JD. The directory includes historic county, city, and town destinations. It is designed to make the local route easier to find without suggesting that every directory area has its own court or warrant custodian.
What You Will Find Here

- Criminal arrest process: how an application, court order, service agency, and later court action fit together, on Arrest Warrant Lookup.

- State systems: what PRAWN and the public records actually provide, in the Warrant Database reference.

What We Cannot Do
Connecticut Warrant Records is a privately operated reference. It is not connected to the Superior Court, DESPP, Connecticut State Police, local police departments, or any other government office. The limits are important:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or certify whether a warrant exists.
- We cannot recall, quash, remove, or clear an order in a court or agency system.
- We do not accept bond or court payments and cannot set a court appearance.
- We cannot arrange a surrender or give legal advice about a specific case.
- We cannot promise that a public result, phone number, fee, or procedure is current.
The issuing Superior Court confirms judicial status. The local police or Connecticut State Police agency responsible for service can confirm its own operational record. No county sheriff warrant unit exists in Connecticut.
Search Partners
Some pages contain search tools operated by outside providers. Those companies control their own services and set their own prices. If a visitor follows a tool to a paid signup, this site may receive a referral fee, which helps fund the reference material. We do not control a partner’s search, price, or results. Information from an outside service is not an official Connecticut warrant check; verify a case with the court and agency that maintain it.
